Camino de Santiago 2027: Holy Year Edition
September 22 - October 1, 2027
Join a small group pilgrimage along the Portuguese Camino (Central Route) during the Holy Year, a rare Camino celebration that occurs only a few times each generation.
Guided by Tamara "Cuchira" Levinson
Ponte de Lima → Santiago de Compostela
156 km • 8 Walking Days
Limited to 8 Pilgrims
Hi, I'm Tamara, though many people know me as Cuchira.
I have always been a wanderer, drawn to the wisdom of nature and the wild places within ourselves.
When I first walked the Camino, I experienced something profound. Through the simple rhythm of walking, the noise of everyday life began to quiet, and I found myself returning home to myself. As a somatic healer, I realized that the Camino embodied so much of what I teach: pacing, listening deeply, trusting the process, surrender, and allowing life to unfold one step at a time.
I knew then that I wanted to create a space for others to experience this path in the same spirit.
This is not a tour. It is a small-group pilgrimage for those who feel called to walk with intention.
With only eight pilgrims, there is space for simplicity, reflection, meaningful connection, and the quiet transformation that can emerge through walking day after day. My role is not to lead you to an experience. The Camino will do that in its own way. My role is simply to hold the container, tend the practical details, and walk alongside you as the journey unfolds. Together we will walk toward Santiago, one step at a time, returning home to ourselves along the way.
This pilgrimage involves walking approximately 15-25 km per day for 8 consecutive days while carrying your own backpack. Participants should be in good physical and mental health and comfortable with sustained daily walking on varied terrain. This pilgrimage is designed for those who feel called to connect and spend time in quiet reflection. No performance goals. No pressure to be social. Just a willingness to walk, listen, and meet the journey as it unfolds.
We will stay in traditional pilgrim albergues. Accommodation is simple and communal, with shared dormitory-style rooms and shared bathrooms. For many pilgrims, this becomes one of the most meaningful parts of the Camino experience. The simplicity invites us to let go of excess, while the shared spaces create opportunities for connection, humility, and a sense of belonging to something larger than ourselves.
