THE MISSION

Healing isn’t the goal.

Cultivating a grounded, loving relationship with yourself is.

That’s what makes this work different from therapy that focuses on resolving a single moment, memory, or wound.

This isn’t a means to a fix, or return to a past version of yourself. It’s an ongoing practice of building a relationship with yourself that can hold you through every season of your life, for the rest of your life.

When you learn how to meet yourself, listen to yourself, and stay with yourself, you don’t just heal one moment. You become someone who can dance through life’s unknowns with more honesty, steadiness, love, and self‑trust.

The three pathways to that mission:

• Beyond Narrative

Stories are creations of the mind that protect you from feeling what’s actually happening in your body. When you move Beyond Narrative, you meet the truth underneath it; the sensation, the pattern, the need, the boundary, the reality your body has been holding all along.

• Body First

When you start with the body, you’re not guessing, overthinking, or trying to “figure yourself out.” You’re working directly with the intelligence that’s been guiding you, and protecting you, your whole life.

• Authentic Impulse

The deep, instinctual pull toward who you were before the world told you who to be; uncovering the unmasked self, to embody the inner truth that moves with clarity and certainty.

Meet Tamara "Cuchira"

Hello, and thanks for stopping by. I’m Tamara, though most people know me as Cuchira. I can assure you that committing to this work will change your life, just as it changed mine.

I’ve been journeying with my inner world for as long as I can remember. I was born a seeker, drawn to the intensity of my emotional landscape, and I found my way into it through movement: dance, athletics, performance, anything that let me express truth through the felt body. That devotion carried me into a life as a world‑class dancer: touring with artists like Madonna, becoming an Olympian at fifteen, choreographing for Hollywood films, and training dancers to access their embodied intelligence.

In time, I stepped out of performance and into the deeper world of emotions and trauma work, teaching somatic therapy long before it had a name. They called me “the crazy dancing lady,” and my classes were euphoric, cathartic spaces where people could finally let everything move. But I knew the release needed integration to become transformation, so I opened my private practice. Working 1:1 brought a depth that was undeniable; people would tell me that a single day of this work shifted more than decades of talk therapy.

For over 30 years, I’ve guided people to live from their soul’s purpose, through their somatic wisdom, into authenticity, clarity, and a life that feels like their own. This isn’t just my work; it’s my calling, my devotion, and the greatest privilege of my life.

Why the Body?

The body is the most honest place you have. The one part of you that cannot lie, rush, or bypass itself. It holds your truths before your mind can name them, and it completes what your thoughts interrupt. When you use the body as a tool for self‑relationship, you’re not “dropping into sensations”; you’re returning to the only system that feels life in real time.

The body shows you where you’re out of alignment, where you’re abandoning yourself, where you’re longing, where you’re done, and where you’re not done yet. It gives you a relationship with yourself that is felt, not performed; a relationship rooted in coherence, honesty, and presence.

In Their Words...

I’ve done many retreats — fasting, yoga, Eckhart Tolle.
All of them were great.

But the BeyondTheNarrative retreat blew my mind.

I stepped into places I never knew existed —
spaces of peace, wisdom, and love I had forgotten.

Layer after layer fell away until only presence remained.

Tamara guides with such grace that you barely notice what’s unfolding —
until you do. And then you can’t unnotice it.

Andrew Forest

Executive Creative Director

Tamara is a once-in-a-lifetime kind of person.
She strips away your stories and brings you back to your truth.

Through workshops and 1:1 work, I closed a five-year chapter of my life
and stepped into a new era.

BeyondTheNarrative goes deep —
and what happens there stays with you.

Truth. Freedom. Power.

I didn’t come to this work unprepared.
I had spent years in therapy and body-based practices — looking for healing, regulation, understanding.

What I found with Tamara was something else entirely.

Instead of “regulating,” I returned to my own intelligence and joy.
I learned to trust the body and its cues and I finally found my voice!

The process was intense, sometimes brutal, and deeply honest —
but it brought me back to life.

This is the real deal. Empowerment in its rawest form.
